An Artist of Sorts…

A young man with light brown hair, styled in a modern fashion, wearing a white shirt with a small logo on the chest, sitting against a plain light gray wall. He has a serious expression and is looking directly at the camera. He accessorizes with a black necklace with a pendant, a bracelet, and a ring on his right hand.

I’m Noah—a 21-year-old self-taught photographer and filmmaker from Fiordland, New Zealand. Growing up in one of the most remote corners of the earth, living in a village of less than 300 people, stillness, space, and natural beauty shaped the way I see.

Using our old family camera, at the age of twelve I secretly uploaded my first landscape photography video on YouTube. I had no idea what I was doing, but the concept of capturing moments in time, and being able to share them with others? This was captivating.

Overtime creativity became more than just a secret hobby, but a way of being, leading me to push myself, to notice things that others don’t see, to feel things others don’t feel.

In a time where we are spending more time with screens than with people, I’ve come to value real life connection so much more. Not just connection with people, but with places, and one’s own self. I aim to reflect this in my work, everything I create carries something deeper than just a beautiful view, but a feeling behind it.

We all have this deep-rooted need for something real—a need that can’t be satisfied through virtual means, but only through living. That’s where my creative journey has led me: toward a vision of bringing together a community of people who share these values.
